Palm PCR™G3是一款手持式便於攜帶的PCR系統，除了進行超快速PCR反應的全部能力外，還提供了多步等溫功能(multi-step isothermal functions)，一般分子生物實驗所需的逆轉錄、核酸製備 和 細胞裂解 都可於Palm PCR™G3系統上獨立運作。

就是除了提供標準PCR所需的溫控，再額外加入細胞裂解的反應溫控 與 RNA到DNA逆轉錄所需的逆轉錄酶反應溫控，使破細胞到標的基因表現的 cDNA 擴增能在單機一次完成，也就是Cell Lysis RT-PCR。
